NAIROBI AFRICA – The woes of love are always the hardest to accept especially when it involves a third part and one’s spouse. But to be fair it was easier to cheat and have multiple affairs married or not as there was no fear of being caught on social media.
The new age fear of any individual that is stepping out of their marriage or relationship with their significant other is that fact that you could get caught on any social media or even on a phone camera without your knowledge. Back when these things didn’t exist it was much easier to get away with your word against whoever else’s.
We now see what kind of damage social media can do as a disappointed woman has taken to social media to share her grief and anger as she found out about the infidelities of her husband who she had been married to for 20 years or so.
The woman who goes by the name Mercy Kate has found on Facebook that her husband of 20 plus years has a whole other family and she is just learning about this now. She stated on her social media that “My husband, my rock, has been having an affair for over ten years. We have been married for over twenty years, my husband is a public servant and spends a lot of time away from home buy I never imagined he can betray me, interestingly he has another family in Mombasa where he stays mostly and I have always known ni job tu anafanya,”
After 20 years of marriage and 5 children one would think that they knew everything about their spouse. When asked how she found out about her husband’s 10-year infidelity she stated that it happened very much by accident. She said that she had created a new Facebook account and was wanting to send a friends request to her husband. When she did this a new account created by her husband came up and in this new account there were photos of her husband and his new family.
She shared that she then immediately confronted him by asking “I confronted him and he accepted. It was the lowest moment of my life. How could Brian do this to me? After twenty years of trusting him, He left me struggling with the children and moved to his mistress permanently after I questioned him. He stopped supporting us, life became hard for us,”
