To form pro-vitamin A, beta-carotene splits, which possesses vision- related antioxidant properties needed, for sharp eyesight and good vision.

Beta carotene gives your skin a healthy glow, while Vitamin A and the antioxidants protects the skin from the sun damage. Deficiency of Vitamin A leads to dry skin, brittle hair and nails. You can slow down aging by including carrots in your daily diet. Due to metabolism, beta carotene helps to repair skin damage.
