The government launches special programs

To mark his 75th birthday, the central government has initiated several programs aimed at public welfare. Among these, “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan” will focus on empowering women’s health and strengthening family wellbeing. Simultaneously, the nation honors “Poshan Maah,” or Nutrition Month, which focuses on providing good care to people in need. As a result, AIIMS Delhi has planned medical checkup camps across several centers to provide health services. Additionally, a nationwide political campaign named “Seva Pakhwada” will run for fifteen days, involving community service activities, blood donation drives, cleanliness initiatives, and exhibits showcasing government achievements.

Mr. Modi also visited Madhya Pradesh to formally launch both the women‑and‑family health campaign and the nutrition drive, especially targeting pregnant and lactating women under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. In tribal regions, the “Aadi Seva Parv” initiative will promote community service work. As part of the welfare efforts, direct financial help will be transferred to the bank accounts of one million women during this period, reinforcing the government’s commitment to supporting underserved populations.
