Who stole the show at Manish Malhotra’s star-studded Diwali party?

Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ Mumbai lit up a little brighter this week as designer Manish Malhotra hosted his much-awaited annual Diwali party. The celebration, held at his city mansion, was nothing short of a high-fashion reunion, with some of Bollywood’s greatest actors dressed in their holiday finest. The guest list included Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan‘s daughter Suhana Khan, Rekha, Hema Malini, and many others, each bringing their own sense of flair to the event.

Kareena Kapoor Khan turned heads in an elegant ivory Anarkali embellished with subtle details. She accessorized her clothing with bold earrings and handled herself with her typical confidence. Nita Ambani also made an impression in a shimmering silver saree adorned with gorgeous emerald diamonds. Suhana Khan chose a classic violet saree with a diamond and emerald belt, keeping her look basic but gorgeous. Karan Johar arrived in a classic black kurta with a modern touch, while stars Tiger Shroff and Sidharth Malhotra wore embroidered black ensembles.

Veteran actress Hema Malini wore a pink saree paired with a silver cape, adding a modern layer to a traditional look. Rekha, as always, stayed true to her iconic style in a golden Kanjivaram saree, complete with temple jewelry. Other standout appearances included Urmila Matondkar in a silver saree with a corset-style blouse and Nushrratt Bharuccha in a dramatic fish-cut lehenga. Additionally, couples also stole the spotlight. Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza brought warmth to the red carpet: he in crisp white, she glowing in an olive-green saree. The two shared light moments, charming photographers and fans alike.

One of the most talked-about moments came when Bobby Deol and Preity Zinta crossed paths. Their unexpected meeting reminded viewers of their seminal picture Soldier (1998), fueling speculation about a potential sequel. The evening also saw several subtle relationship revelations, such as Tara Sutaria and Veer Pahariya walking hand in hand for the first time in public. Meanwhile, Ananya Panday opted for a more modern appearance, wearing a sparkling bustier and a sleek skirt. With a blend of nostalgia, fashion, and familiar faces, Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party was more than just a celebration; it was a night when Bollywood came together in style.
