USA (Commonwealth Union)_ Discussions about the richest Indian-origin leaders in global technology often focus on familiar names such as Microsoft chief Satya Nadella and Google CEO Sundar Pichai. While both oversee some of the world’s most powerful companies, neither currently leads the list when it comes to personal wealth. The latest Hurun India Rich List 2025 places that distinction elsewhere. According to the report, Jayshree Ullal, president and chief executive officer of Arista Networks, has emerged as the wealthiest Indian-origin professional manager in the world.

Ullal’s estimated net worth stands at Rs 50,170 crore, far ahead of her peers in Silicon Valley. Nadella ranks behind her with a net worth of Rs 9,770 crore, while Pichai is placed seventh on the list with Rs 5,810 crore. The rankings highlight how long-term equity ownership can outweigh even the highest executive salaries. Ullal has led Arista Networks since 2008. During her tenure, the computer networking company has grown steadily into a major force in cloud and data center infrastructure. In 2024, Arista reported revenue of $7 billion, representing an increase of nearly 20 percent from the previous year, according to Forbes. Ullal owns close to 3 percent of the company’s shares, some of which have been allocated for her children, niece, and nephew.
