Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay celebrated his 52nd birthday on Monday, receiving warm wishes from political leaders, film personalities, and millions of fans across the country. Social media platforms were flooded with greetings, making the actor-politician one of the most talked-about personalities of the day.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among the first national leaders to extend his wishes. In a message shared online, he wished Vijay good health, happiness, and a long life.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also greeted the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister on his birthday. He wished Vijay success in all his future endeavours and pledged support for protecting the rights, dignity, and aspirations of the people of Tamil Nadu while working towards the state’s development.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin also joined the celebrations with a heartfelt message, wishing Vijay good health and strength to continue serving the public. He expressed hope that the leader would carry out his responsibilities with enthusiasm and dedication in the years ahead.

However, amid the celebrations, discussions about Vijay’s upcoming film, Jana Nayagan, continued to attract attention. Fans have been eagerly awaiting news about the film’s release, but no major update was announced on his birthday.
The movie was initially scheduled for release on January 9; however, its release has been delayed due to pending certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Some members of the certification board reportedly raised concerns about scenes and dialogues that could be considered politically sensitive or capable of influencing public opinion.
The regional certification panel is said to have recommended a UA 16+ rating, but the certification process was delayed following an internal objection, prompting the film’s producers to seek legal intervention. The production team later withdrew its petition before the Madras High Court and decided to proceed through the standard certification process.
Although the film has already been reviewed by the Revising Committee, final clearance is still awaited.
Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Venkat K. Narayana under KVN Productions, Jana Nayagan features a star-studded cast, including Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani, and Narain. The film’s music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
