Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt have officially begun a new chapter in their lives after getting married in a private ceremony at the actor’s home in Mumbai. The couple, who have known each other for nearly 25 years and have been in a relationship for more than two years, exchanged vows in the presence of their closest family members and friends on July 5. The intimate wedding was held at Aamir Khan’s residence in Bandra, where around 150 guests gathered to celebrate the occasion. Family members who travelled from overseas also attended the ceremony, making it a special reunion for both families.

According to reports, the couple also completed the legal formalities by signing the official marriage registration documents during the celebrations. Soon after the wedding, Aamir Khan’s public relations team shared the first official photograph of the newlyweds on social media. The post described the ceremony as a celebration of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, offering fans a glimpse into the couple’s joyful day. One of the emotional highlights of the ceremony was Gauri’s wedding vow to Aamir. She called him her “protector” and “shelter” as she accepted him as her lawful husband. After she finished speaking, Aamir warmly held her hand and kissed it, drawing smiles from everyone present.

The ceremony took place inside the actor’s Mumbai home, creating a warm and personal atmosphere. Aamir’s mother, Zeenat Hussain, watched the ceremony from the front row. His children, Junaid Khan, Ira Khan, and Azad Rao Khan, were also present. Ira attended with her husband, Nupur Shikhare. Gauri’s son, Quinn, also joined the family celebration. Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker was among the close friends who attended the wedding. For the special occasion, Aamir wore a simple ivory traditional outfit paired with a statement brooch, black-framed glasses, and light stubble. Gauri chose a pastel-toned lehenga with delicate embroidery and a full-sleeved blouse. She completed her look with a flower-adorned braid, a layered necklace, a choker, and matching earrings.

Aamir first confirmed his relationship with Gauri earlier this year and revealed that they had been friends for decades before becoming partners. Speaking before the wedding, he described it as a small and homely celebration with only family members and a few close friends. He also requested everyone’s blessings for their future together. Gauri, originally from Bengaluru, studied at Blue Mountain School before pursuing fashion styling and photography at the University of the Arts London. She currently manages a BBlunt salon in Mumbai.
Aamir was previously married to film producer Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao, and although they separated in 2021, they continue to co-parent their son, Azad. Following the wedding, congratulatory messages poured in from friends across the film industry and beyond, including Salman Khan and former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan. Over the past year, Aamir and Gauri have made several public appearances together, including at the Macau International Comedy Festival in China, where they were seen celebrating their relationship openly.
