Fastest trains coming soon?

It is reported that persons living in Beijing have been advised against traveling during the holiday season. Being said they are optimistic of the fact that if they are unable to board a train, they can dream of one.  According to Chinas headlines on high-speed rail there are ways and means that it can keep the travelers mind at ease.

Fastest train in the world, coming to a station near you

This week, engineers at Southwest Jiaotong University in Chengdu showed off their latest design of a train that they expect will solidify the record for fastest train in the world under China’s belt. The sleek engine car (pictured at top) will be able to carry a train at 620 kilometers per hour using high-temperature superconductor magnet levitation technology. That would already leave Japan’s bullet trains in the dust, whose top speed is around just 320 kilometers per hour.

As per their findings, the sleek engine car will be in a position to cart a train at 620 kilometers per hour using high-temperature superconductor magnet levitation technology. If this would be the reality, Japan’s bullet trains would be left in the grim as its top speed is 320 kilometers per hour.

But it seems like the Engineers do not want to stop at that.   It appears they would eventually instrument in installing Musk-like vacuum tubes around the tracks to allow the train to achieve speeds of 1,000 kilometers per hour or so to say a fragment faster than a standard jetliner. Whether it is probable or realistic is something that we won’t hold our breathing waiting on.

Beijing is all about unveiling new systems and innovations. For for all of those who might not be able to the Ha’erbin Ice Festival this year, it’s just a short time before you will be able to do so next year. Beijing has unveiled a train that can bear temperatures as low as -40degrees Celcius while still reaching a trouncing speed of 350 kilometers per hour.   The train offers a new breaking system which enables the train to be in motion while in being parked mode in very cold areas and prevents it freezing. The trains will operate between Beijing, Ha’erbin, and Shenyang, and Chengde on the new route to the newly opened Hebei Capital

Keep quiet in the quiet cars

At the beginning of the year, authorities from the transit office followed up on a long awaited discussion of a plan to implement “quiet carriages” for certain routes which included the route between Beijing and Shanghai. This restriction if implemented will deter passengers from using cell phones or engaging in playing audio games via speakers which would be accepted with open arms by neighboring passengers to get a forty winks.
