As “D” Day is nearing, President –elect Joe Biden is working hard at naming his cabinet and certain other senior roles in his administration. President –elect will take his oaths as the President of the United States on 20th January 2021.

His campaign vow was to put together a cabinet “that looks like America. Based on this pledge, Mr. Biden’s line up of nominations have comprised women of racial minorities which is celebrated as a first in the history of the country. This is not all complete though, because Mr. Biden is up against demands for a bigger spread and is subject to condemnation from leftists who continue to be very skeptical of hid policy agenda.

As is necessary, all of Mr. Biden’s nominees will need ratification in a split Senate. As of this moment, the choices for his leading positions have been distinguished individuals of whom many have served in the Obama Administration, thus highlighting the importance on experience.

Once elected, the President and his team face the pressing need of navigating the country out of the current pandemic that has according to reports, as of Saturday 16th January 2021 claimed over 370,000 lives and devastated the economy    leaving millions out of work. It is envisaged that his Cabinet will engage in a pivotal role in an effort to provide on an immediate basis coronavirus relief while implementing and carrying out his domestic and foreign policy priorities.
