London, UK (CU)_ The Dorset County Hospital is currently under severe stress with high Covid cases, but it also has a good reason to rejoice as it was named one of the top ten emergency care facilities in the country. According to the 2020 Urgency and Emergency Care Survey, the feedback of patients who visited DCH’s Emergency Department between November 2020 and March 2021 were compared to 126 others.
DCH was experiencing a difficult moment in dealing with a winter rise in Covid cases at the time. A total of 486 individuals participated in the survey. For eight main reasons, the results placed DCH ahead of several other hospitals. According to the patients, the hospital’s Emergency Department topped in three major areas including arrival, waiting periods, and exiting the department.
