PERTH (CU)_Earlier this year, allegations of discrimination and harassment, including rape and sexual assault experienced by women operating in Western Australia Pilbara region, has exposed the grim reality faced by women in the mining industry. This triggered an inquiry by the Community Development and Justice Standing Committee into the sexual harassment against women in the fly-in fly-out (FIFO) industry, which commenced on 7 July.
