MELBOURNE (CU)_Just as countries across the globe began recovering from the worst effects of the pandemic, COVID-19 is making headlines once again, as a result of the newly discovered Omicron variant. First reported in South Africa, the variant has triggered a wave of border closures around the world, as health experts and government authorities announce measures to try to keep it bay.
