London England -there has been a lot going on with almost every airline in the industry and its mostly due to the fact that most borders are open now and the rules are being laxed to the point of pre pandemic normality. It seems that the entire world wants to catch up for all the travel they have missed for the past 3 years.

By the looks of it, it isn’t a bad thing as most countries depend on tourism to keep their economy afloat. But the problem is with all that is happening in this time the world on its own is facing a fuel crisis and this means that airline is facing the fact that refueling has to be done with utmost care as there cannot afford to be any kind of wastage.

British airway in particular has been getting bashed for the fact that they have been cancelling a massive amount of flights leaving passengers unhappy and disgruntled with the inconvenience. But the airline has come back and stated very clearly that although there have been cancellations to a certain degree, this has not really impacted the customers in a major way and it really only has been a minor inconvenience.

British airways further explained what the cancellations were about and it seems the cancelling of a flight was to make sure that there was minimal disruption and flight delays during the winter period. The airline further went to state that it would cut 12 round trips per day and some long-haul flights would be disrupted.

British Airways commented the following “protecting key holiday destinations over half-term customers booked for winter will be able to travel as planned and are being given several months’ notice of any changes”
