Public granted access to Gros Piton trail!

Saint Lucia (CU)_ In response to concerns raised by members of the public regarding the obstruction of access to the Gros Piton Trail through Anse L’Ivorgne, the Department of Physical Development and Urban Renewal states that it has reviewed the registered rights of the public to access the parcel of land on which the trail is located.

The Department of Physical Development and Urban Renewal stated in a statement over the weekend that among other things, it is responsible for managing state-owned lands like the Queen’s Chain and maintaining the Land Registry records.
