Meet the Indian-born techie who is assisting Musk in revamping Twitter!

(Commonwealth Union)_ Indian American Sriram Krishnan, a technology expert in Silicon Valley, is assisting Twitter’s new CEO Elon Musk, as he redesigns the social media company he recently purchased. Andreessen Horowitz’s general partner Krishnan is a Silicon Valley venture capitalist. Krishnan took to Twitter and posted the following statement. He tweeted: “Now that the word is out: I’m helping out @elonmusk with Twitter temporarily with some other great people. I (and a16z) believe this is a hugely important company and can have a great impact on the world and Elon is the person to make it happen.”

According to Krishnan, he is very much engaged with his regular work at @a16zcrypto. He said: “You know how to find me if you are a crypto trader.” His biography on the Andreessen Horowitz website indicates that Krishnan makes investments in early-stage consumer firms and serves on the boards of Bitski, Hopin, and Polywork firms. Before entering a16z, Krishnan had served in a number of senior product roles. According to his LinkedIn profile, he recently directed key consumer teams at Twitter, where he was in charge of products like the home timeline, new user experience, search, discovery, and audience development.

Krishnan began his career with Microsoft, where he worked on various Windows Azure-related projects. Apart from being the author of the book ‘Programming Windows Azure’ published by O’Reilly, he also hosts a weekly program known as ‘The Good Time Show’ on Clubhouse along with his wife Aarthi Ramamurthy, in which the couple interviews visionaries in tech and culture. His profile also stated that he previously established and managed many mobile ad products for Snap and Facebook, including Snap’s Direct Response advertising business and the Facebook Audience Network, one of the leading display advertising networks. According to his LinkedIn page, he graduated from SRM Engineering College, Anna University, with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Information Technology.
