INDIA (Commonwealth Union) – The Indian education sector has seen a lot of growth in terms of offering many degrees in almost every language India has. The languages in each area change and it’s not always Hindi, its various forms of it some might say.

However, there is also the option of perusing your chosen degree in a foreign language as well. Most university students choose this option in case they get an opportunity to study abroad or work in a foreign company. Life is easier if you are familiar with the language. Nevertheless, the region of Hyderabad has started offering the MMB in Hindi. The thinking behind this is that the use of the mother tongue will help students understand better than using a foreign language.

This came about after many heated discussions as there are two sides to the coin; one is that this would this limit the students to just studying in India and not give them the opportunity to peruse opportunities abroad, while the second is that if this be good for the country as students receive a good education on the English language.

Now that we have seen the two side, they are both open to discussion. Nevertheless, Hyderabad is the fist area to start doing the MBBS in Hindi and so far, and things are looking good. There was a spike in grades as soon as the option was introduced. Initially, students were a little reluctant as they assumed that they would miss out of foreign employment opportunities. However, they soon came about when they realized that by studying this in their mother tongue made it a lot easier to understand.

Once the other Pradesh saw that the Hyderabad students doing relatively better when learning their degrees in Hindi, they too started taking the this as an example and slowly introducing the option of doing their degrees in Hindi.
