AUSTRALIA (COMMONWEALTH UNION) – it’s that time of year again where countries try to keep the Ozone layer intact, and the country that will be taking the prize for harming the Ozone layer will be going to Australia and its black bushfire smoke.

Now bad news has always been around and one can never avoid it. But it looks like there is no rain in the it’s Australian continent and a glace seems to be causing destruction with bush fires. The Ozone layer is known for being a gem of a environ mental success story but with the smoke from the bush fire it seems that there has been some serious damage caused.

Now it isn’t only Australia that is to blame but the world as a whole. The entire world went into fear gear a decade ago when there was findings of the Ozone layer being harmed and there being a small gap created. Every country took measure to make sure that they were being careful and the carbon foot prints were being minimized. There was success and we managed to fix the ozone layer.

But alas a decade later seems that win would not last. It seems that with everything the world is going through climate change has become a serious issue on top of that there are the deadly Australian bushfires which seem to have not helped reverse all the good that has been done in the past ten years.

Environmental scientist has published papers on how the smoke from the bush fires in 2019 – 2020 have been the major cause of th4e decline of the Ozone layer.

This is now causing concern globally and scientist are trying to find way to repair the Ozone layer so that the ray’s wont effect the planet. There still seems no answers but it is unlikely that an answer could be found overnight.
