Founded under the Central Universities Act, 2009 as the Central University of Bihar (CUB), this institution has evolved into the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) under the Central Universities (Amendment) Act, 2014. Nestled on a lush 300-acre campus, a mere 15 km away from Gaya town, CUSB boasts an environment that nurtures both academic and personal development.

So, what’s the secret behind CUSB’s soaring reputation? Let’s start with the academic front-runners. The university proudly offers four captivating undergraduate courses under the CUET UG 2023 umbrella. Whether you’re passionate about the intricacies of law, intrigued by the world of agriculture, dreaming of inspiring young minds as a teacher, or eager to explore the realms of education and science together – CUSB has you covered!

And when it’s time to unwind, the university offers an array of indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Whether you’re a budding athlete or just looking to have some fun, CUSB has space for your leisure and recreation.

Now, let’s talk about one of the most exciting chapters of a student’s journey – placements. CUSB students have soared high, landing placements in prestigious organizations like Azim Premji Foundation, Care India (NGO), and the Gandhi Fellowship – Piramal Foundation. But that’s not all! They’ve also found their place in renowned media houses like Times of India, Hindustan Times, ETV Bharat, and newspapers like Hindustan Dainik and Prabhat Khabar. This speaks volumes about the holistic education and practical exposure that CUSB offers.

Let’s rewind a bit to the inception of this extraordinary journey. CUSB’s story began with an ‘A’ rating during its first evaluation and certification by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2017. The journey didn’t stop there; it reached the zenith as the first university in the state to receive an ‘A++’ grade from NAAC. That’s a testament to the commitment to excellence and continuous improvement that runs through the institution’s veins.

Now, if you’re itching to be part of this dynamic community, here’s your chance. The university uses the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for student enrollment. Applying is as easy as a few clicks on the official website – cusb.ac.in.
