United Kingdom (Commonwealth Union)_ Today (Wednesday 6th December) COFFEE chain Starbucks is giving away a free tall beverage to all NHS workers as a festive thank you for their hard work.

Starbucks will be giving away free drinks for a select group of workers for one day this week.

The move comes as a part of the coffee company’s support for the NHS Charities Together.

This is the 4th year that Starbucks has been providing this festive treat. The coffee chain has been supporting the charity for the past three years by offering NHS workers free drinks for a day each year.

Select hospitals without a nearby Starbucks store will receive deliveries of Starbucks Frappuccino Mocha Flavoured Chilled Coffee and Starbucks Toffee Nut Latte Premium Instant Coffee.

NHS workers can get any free tall beverage this year as a festive thank-you for their services.

NHS staff can order from Starbucks stores across the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland), any handcrafted tall beverage of their choice when they show their work identity card in store.

General manager at Starbucks UK, Alex Rayner, said: “We want to thank NHS staff across the UK for all the work they do and as a token of our appreciation, we are bringing back the free tall beverage on 6th December for the fourth year running. Coffee brings people together and we hope that NHS staff could take a moment today to share the festive joy and raise a coffee to one another to celebrate.”

He said they knew how much NHS staff have enjoyed taking part in this special day and that it was something to look forward to year after year, and that they were thrilled to see their partnership with NHS Charities Together flourish and their offer extended to more NHS workers than ever before.
