A Brunei-Singapore collaboration for mutual understanding!

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei (CU)_ Four Memorandums of Understanding have been signed between the governments of Brunei and Singapore. The four major MoUs are MoU on Cooperation in Public Service Capacity Development; MoU on Brunei Darussalam-Singapore Youth Education Scholarship; MoU on Strengthening Trade and Investment Cooperation in Food and Medical Products; and MoU on Cooperation in Energy and Green Economy.

Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II, represented the Brunei Government of His Majesty and signed the MoU on cooperation in public service capacity development. Chan Chun Sing, Minister for Education and Minister-in-Charge of the Public Service, represented the Government of Singapore. The objective of the MoU is to establish collaboration between Brunei’s Prime Minister’s Office and Singapore’s Public Services Division, where Singapore will organize the secondment of Brunei’s civil officials in its ministries and government-associated entities, and offer training opportunities to them inside Singapore’s public service.

In the meantime, the Brunei Darussalam-Singapore Youth Education Scholarship Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Minister of Education Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah Mohd Salleh on behalf of His Majesty’s Government, while Chan represented the Singapore Government. The MOU intends to increase contacts between Brunei and Singapore’s youth and future leaders and aims to enhance the affinity and mutual understanding between the two nations. The scholarships will also be granted to certain Bruneian students at the secondary school level.

Dr. Awang Mohd Amin Liew signed the two MoUs on Strengthening Trade and Investment Cooperation in Food and Medical Products and Cooperation in Energy and Green Economy, while Gan Kim Yong, Minister for Trade and Industry, represented the Singaporean government. Brunei Darussalam and Singapore will collaborate under the MOU on Strengthening Trade and Investment Cooperation in Food and Medical Products to enable, promote, and increase food and medical product supply resilience and their successful transportation between the two nations. The MoU focuses mainly on three major areas: food supplies, medicinal items, and transportation solutions.

A Brunei-Singapore Joint Committee was formed as a result of the signing of the MoU, which aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation as well as expedite the implementation of joint projects. Brunei and Singapore are committed to establishing a platform for collaboration in the areas of energy and green economy through the MoU on Cooperation in Energy and Green Economy, which focuses primarily on four key areas: energy and green economy, including energy transition; thriving low-carbon technologies; carbon capture and storage; and carbon market.

• We do not pay individuals to create or post TikTok videos.
• We do not ask anyone to deposit money to “activate” an account, unlock earnings, or participate in any investment programme.
• Our legitimate services are conducted exclusively through our official and publicly listed platforms and communication channels.

If you have been approached by anyone claiming to represent “Commonwealth Union,” “Commonwealth Union Cryptocurrency Limited,” or any purported affiliate or subsidiary for the purpose of offering jobs, investments, referral payments, or cryptocurrency-related opportunities, you are strongly advised to treat such contact as fraudulent. Do not send money or provide personal information under any circumstances.

These criminal actors are deliberately misappropriating our name, as well as those of other unaware Companies, forging documents and certificates, and unlawfully reproducing our branding in order to operate completely fraudulent social media promoter and cryptocurrency investment schemes.
