Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ Actor Prabhas and the Adipurush team gathered in Tirupati for the grand pre-release event of their film. According to media reports, during the event, when queried about his marriage, Prabhas responded, “I will get married in Tirupati”. Further, speculation had circulated about Prabhas dating his Adipurush co-star Kriti Sanon, but both actors have consistently denied these rumors.
The previous year, Kriti Sanon and Prabhas gained attention when Varun Dhawan, Kriti’s Bhediya co-star, hinted at their alleged relationship. However, Kriti Sanon clarified in a statement that the rumors were baseless and that there was no truth in them. She stated, “It’s neither Pyaar nor PR. Our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter led to some Howl-various rumors. Before some portal announces my wedding date-let burst your bubble. The rumors are absolutely baseless”.
Prior to the grand event, Prabhas was photographed at the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple in Tirumala, and these pictures quickly went viral. Further, the Adipurush trailer was also launched at Tirupati, and so far, two songs from the magnum opus film have been released. They are Ram Siya Ram and Jai Shri Ram. Adipurush, helmed by director Om Raut, is a film based on the epic Ramayana. It features Prabhas as Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Shesh, and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman. Saif Ali Khan also stars in the film as the antagonist, Lankesh.
The much-anticipated film is set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 13. This magnum opus will then be released in theaters, including IMAX and 3D formats, on June 16. Adipurush, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles, will be released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
