ABUJA (CU)_ The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), last week, received submissions from 110 countries on their updated Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), ahead of the crucial UN climate talks (COP26) scheduled to be held in Glasgow in November. NDCs, which are at the heart of the 2015 Paris Agreement, embody national plans launched by members of the UN in order to address the crisis of climate change. They are of vital importance since they provide an accurate and comprehensive record of climate efforts across the global.
