Mumbai, India (CU)_ Bollywood super hero actor Akshay Kumar recently spent time with the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) soldiers and had a memorable day with them. The 53-year-old actor also shared his experience with the social media fans. The actor visited Jammu and Kashmir to meet the BSF’s Tulail camp and posted several pictures of himself and the soldiers in his Instagram handle. Akshay Kumar appears in the photographs wearing a sweatshirt with a camouflage print. Two of the photographs showed him walking alongside the soldiers, and another showed him dancing alongside them.
One of the pictures showed Akshay Kumar posing alongside the real heroes near an Army helicopter. He captioned the post as, “Spent a memorable day with the BSF bravehearts guarding the borders today. Coming here is always a humbling experience… meeting the real heroes. My heart is filled with nothing but respect”. Akshay Kumar’s post drew numerous responses from his fans. An Instagram user commented, “Adorable sir”.
This is not the actor’s first encounter with military personnel. He frequently visits Army camps to meet with the troops. On Army Day earlier this year, Akshay Kumar spent time with the soldiers and played volleyball with them. He took to Instagram and posted a video of himself having fun with the soldiers throughout the game. On sharing the post, he wrote, “Had the pleasure of meeting some of our bravehearts today to flag off a marathon on the occasion of #ArmyDay and what better way to warm up than a quick game of volleyball”.
On the work front, Akshay Kumar’s forthcoming movie Bell Bottom is ready to hit theaters on July 27. After the lockdown followed by the second wave of COVID in India, Bell Bottom will be the first film to be released in theatres. In addition to Bell Bottom, Akshay Kumar will also appear in the films Bachchan Pandey and Atrangi Re.
