Owing to the Covid outbreak, Amarnath Yatra was closed for the past two years. However, the yatra began this year on 30 June, but was suspended in the middle on 8 July due to a cloudburst that caused a flood. The yatra was therefore postponed. However, the yatra restarted on July 11. The Amarnath Yatra will conclude on August 12 this year.
