California, USA (CU)_ The American College of Cardiology (ACC) and ARMUS, a company specialized in healthcare data management and data science services, have teamed up and launched Global Quality Solutions. The latest venture focuses mainly on cardiovascular health. Through the development and execution of localized quality improvement measures, the new initiative aims to improve cardiovascular health in hospitals and health systems.

Global Quality Solutions will collaborate with hospitals across the globe to collect data using evidence-based algorithms developed by the American College of Cardiology’s National Cardiovascular Data Registry. Following this, the pilot hospitals will follow varied performance metrics over time. In addition, the hospitals will get personal as well as virtual training on following best practices to improve the service quality, how to evaluate patient outcome data, how to prepare for organizational transformation, and other related training.
