Anguilla lifting pre-arrival testing

-

ANGUILLA – When someone says the Caribbean the first thing pops in to your mind in VACATION. This is true 100% of the time as who goes to such beautiful islands and works! That’s right absolutely nobody and anyone who does need to be put in jail for crimes committed against humanity.

But the tourism industry took a deep dive into loss when COVID 19 hit the world and there were then strict travel restrictions put for any kind of travel as the entire world went into a complete lockdown.

But up until recently there were still strict borders control it seems that the countries are now laxing the rules so that tourism has a chance to lift its head and can start contributing to the world economy as well as the countries economy.

Effective 8 August 2022, there will be no pre-arrival testing requirement for vaccinated arrivals.

Proof of vaccination status must still be presented to the airlines at check-in and on arrival at the ports of entry in St. Maarten and Anguilla.

Effective 8 August 2022, unvaccinated visitors will be permitted to enter Anguilla with a negative pre-arrival Covid-19 test result.

There will be no quarantine or further testing.

Unvaccinated children under 18 years of age can enter Anguilla, provided they are accompanied by their fully vaccinated parents or guadians.

The change will be in place well ahead of the busy winter season, when the island reopens in October, after the low-season closure.

Anguilla is a British Overseas Territory in the Eastern Caribbean.

It has 33 white sand beaches, and an exciting range of experiences beyond the beach.
