Apollo Hospitals teams up to enhance AI-based technology for heart disease

-

Chennai, India (CU)_ Apollo Hospitals and ConnectedLife, pioneer in the application of motor-state diagnostics, established a partnership to merge Apollo’s artificial intelligence-based online tool AICVD and ConnectedLife’s digital solutions for health and well-being, condition management, and other health-related services. The AICVD tool is capable of predicting cardiovascular disease risk. This will equip healthcare practitioners with the essential tools and skills necessary to forecast the risk of heart illness in their patients and commence intervention at the earliest to make a difference.

During a virtual event announcing the agreement, the clinical integration was demonstrated. The cardiac risk score instrument is advantageous due to its rapid data processing and precision in estimating the likelihood of a patient acquiring coronary disease. The technology enables clinicians to provide proactive, preemptive, and preventative treatment for those at risk, thereby enhancing lives, minimizing future hazards to life, and relieving load on healthcare systems.
