Australian Catholic hospitals requests government to make vaccinations mandatory to all healthcare employees

Sydney, Australia (CU)_ Following the declaration of a national emergency in the most populated state of Australia, Catholic non-profit hospitals urged the Australian government to make vaccines mandatory for all healthcare employees throughout the nation. During an emergency Cabinet meeting, New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian requested for a refocusing of vaccine deployment in Australia. She explained about the need to make changes in the country’s vaccination strategy. She said, “There is no doubt that if we want to contain this virus and stop it impacting our freedom and our economy, we need to have a discussion about refocusing the national vaccination strategy”.
