health, education, and manpower export will be the subject of discussion, and it is worth noting that the Maldivian vice president, apart from meeting Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen, will also meet Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni, as well as number of other ministers.

As Bangladesh makes the next logical step forward in its development, regional collaboration will be critical to achieving its objectives. Therefore, it has done a commendable job of cooperating with its neighbors. The country has a precarious position on the Indian Ocean, and a large proportion of critical resources pass via its bordering nations. In this scenario, strengthening connections with as many countries in the area as possible would only benefit the nation.
Furthermore, because the nation shares many common concerns with its neighbors, cooperating with them on health and education issues, as the country is planning to do with the Maldives, is advantageous to all parties concerned.
In addition, Bangladesh has become overly dependent on the Middle East for labor employment. Diversifying the country’s target locales for such operations not only provides us additional alternatives, but also gives us the power we need to assure the safety of our personnel in any country. Overall, Bangladesh should be applauded for recognizing the significance of connectivity and engaging with the neighboring nations. The country must move in this direction in order to achieve its goals faster.
