Canada Life to acquire ClaimSecure

The acquisition of ClaimSecure by Canada Life was initially disclosed in July. The president and chief operating officer Jeff Macoun expressed optimism about the new deal in his statement. According to him, “the purchase aligns with [the company’s] priority of building lifelong customer relationships with the workplace plan members that Canada Life serves”.

Canada Life is a financial services and insurance firm based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Great-West Life Assurance Firm, London Life Insurance Company, and The Canada Life Assurance Company, as well as their controlling corporations, merged in 2020 and formed the present company. Great-West Lifeco owns the firm entirely. 

The services including life, disability, and health insurance, as well as benefit and retirement plans, and investment advice are all offered by the Great-West Life Assurance Company. ClaimSecure is a Canadian service provider that provides over 9,100 Canadian businesses with technology-based health claims management and plan administration services.
