CANADA (CU)_Police in Canada have launched a massive manhunt for two men wanted for allegedly killing at least 10 people with knives in a shocking spree. Damien Sanderson and Myles Sanderson, two suspects, are wanted for questioning and are regarded as armed and dangerous.

In the secluded native town of James Smith Cree Nation and adjacent Weldon, victims were discovered in 13 different sites. One of the bloodiest acts of widespread violence Canada has ever experienced. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called it “heartbreaking.”

Police issued a warning to people to be extra careful as they searched one of Canada’s largest and most isolated regions after the killing spree left at least 15 others injured.

“I am shocked and devastated by the horrific attacks today,” Mr Trudeau said in a statement. “Those responsible for today’s abhorrent attacks must be fully brought to justice.”

A dangerous person alert was sent to every cell phone in the vast provinces of Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta as news of the stabbings spread – an area nearly half the size of Europe. The James Smith Cree Nation, which has roughly 2,000 residents and is located northeast of the village of Weldon, which has only 200 persons, has declared a state of emergency.

“Never leave a safe place. When inviting guests into your home, use caution “The Saskatchewan RCMP issued a warning to residents in the neighbourhood.

Drivers have been instructed not to pick up hitchhikers and there are many checkpoints set up. Rhonda Blackmore, Commanding Officer for Saskatchewan RCMP said that some people may have been targeted, while others are believed to have been “attacked randomly”.
