Ontario, Canada (CU)_ Canada’s leading beer company has planned to make its entry into the Canadian insurance market. Budweiser, the King of Beers, is known for its highest quality standards since 1876. Budweiser, which is known for inspiring people to live life responsibly, is diversifying its business with the introduction of Budweiser Insurance. Budweiser Insurance will offer unique coverage options based on valuable information about client experiences, giving a new, modern perspective on classic insurance programs.

As a result of COVID-19, the insurance industry is booming and has become more significant for many people, especially millennials, which has resulted in a 30% rise in online life insurance searches in 2020 as compared to 2019. Budweiser Insurance intends to be a favorite choice for Canadians looking to add on to any prevailing coverage plan, with an emphasis on ensuring summer 2021 is lived to the maximum.

Mike D’Agostini, Senior Marketing Director of Budweiser, Labatt Breweries of Canada, said that this new effort will be met with skepticism; hence, he explained how this venture will benefit the brand. He said, “Unconventional as insurance may seem, Budweiser is known for putting our customers first. The pandemic opened our eyes to this untapped opportunity, which is aimed at providing better security for Canadians and enabling them to live the life they want.”

D’Agostini spoke about the company’s new venture. He said, “Jumping into the insurance space allows us to not only create an innovative part of our business, but also shape a customer-centric approach to insurance that is totally ownable for the Budweiser brand. Budweiser Insurance will tap into a specific-type of coverage not currently available to Canadians and will help them enjoy a worry-free summer, because Bud’s got your back.”
