(Commonwealth_ Dialog Axiata PLC has introduced a pioneering initiative called ‘Smartphone Plans,’ marking the nation’s first installment plan tailored to offer Sri Lankans an affordable and convenient way to purchase the latest Android smartphones. This innovative approach is designed to bridge the gap between the latest technology and the average consumer, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to stay connected and enjoy the benefits of modern mobile technology.

The Smartphone Plans enable customers to own the latest Android smartphones by making an initial payment of just 40% of the device’s total cost. The remaining balance is then spread over a period of 24 months, seamlessly integrated into their Dialog Power Plan Postpaid mobile bill. This setup not only makes high-end smartphones more accessible but also eases the financial burden by breaking down the cost into manageable monthly payments.

For prepaid customers, there is also the flexibility to upgrade to the Postpaid Power Plan while retaining their existing mobile numbers. This transition allows them to avail themselves of the installment plan benefits. Additionally, Dialog offers the Lesi Pay option, which caters to prepaid customers with credit ratings, providing them with flexible payment solutions and access to the latest Android technology. This comprehensive approach ensures that both postpaid and prepaid customers can benefit from the initiative.

The Smartphone Plans offer a variety of options, allowing customers to choose their preferred smartphone, bundled with their Power Plan monthly bill. The device installments and monthly Power Plan rentals start at an affordable rate of Rs. 3,298. This cost-effective solution is designed to be accessible to a wide range of consumers, making it easier for more people to own a modern smartphone without straining their finances.

To take advantage of this offer, customers simply need to visit any Dialog Experience Centre. The process is designed to be seamless and user-friendly, enabling customers to leave the center with a brand-new Android device in hand. This convenience is a significant aspect of the initiative, as it minimizes the hassle typically associated with purchasing a new smartphone.

Dialog’s introduction of the Smartphone Plans goes beyond merely simplifying the acquisition of the latest technology. It plays a crucial role in promoting digital inclusion across Sri Lanka. By making cutting-edge devices more accessible, Dialog empowers Sri Lankans to stay connected, access information, and leverage digital tools that can enhance various aspects of their lives. This initiative is a testament to Dialog’s commitment to driving digital transformation in the country.

In addition to enhancing connectivity, the Smartphone Plans contribute to improving the overall quality of life for Dialog’s customers. With a modern smartphone, users can access a myriad of online services, educational resources, and entertainment options. They can stay in touch with loved ones, manage their finances through mobile banking, and participate in the digital economy. This increased access to technology can have a profound impact on individuals and communities, fostering greater social and economic development.

Dialog Axiata PLC has long been a leader in the telecommunications industry, known for its innovative solutions and customer-centric approach. The introduction of the Smartphone Plans is yet another example of how the company is continuously striving to meet the evolving needs of its customers. This initiative also aligns with broader national and global trends towards digital inclusion and economic empowerment.
