Patient feedback lauded the well-organized ambulance handover times, the privacy to freely discuss their condition at the reception, less waiting times to meet the doctor and get examined, information about important symptoms to note for after returning home, and the transport arrangements provided by the hospitals. Patients also lauded the hospital for valuing their opinions and incorporating them in treatment and care decisions, in cleanliness, in treating them with respect and decency, and for giving an overall great experience in hospitality and service.
Clare Turnbull, Emergency Department Matron, expressed gratitude to the hospital team and appreciated them. He said, “The team worked extremely hard to provide high quality care and strive to give our patients the best experience they can, in an often very busy, unpredictable and stressful environment. The results reflect just how hard everyone works and the team should be very proud of themselves and I want to thank each and every one of them for all their hard work and dedication.”
