Los Angeles, USA(CWBN)_Since testing positive for COVID-19, Ellen DeGeneres has started talking about one of her symptoms of COVID-19. Days after announcing that she tested positive for COVID-19, DeGeneres said she felt “really good,”. “Just saying thank you to all the well wishes out there, I appreciate it very much. I’m feeling 100 per cent,” said the Emmy winner on video on Wednesday (16th December) shared on her Twitter account.

However, one unexpected symptom DeGeneres seems to have encountered is back pain. She went on to say “One thing that they don’t tell you is you get, somehow, excruciating back pain. Didn’t know that was a symptom, but I talked to some other people — back pain. Who knew? How come? Back pain. Bad.”

Last week, following the news of DeGeneres’ positive result, The Ellen DeGeneres Show had been put on hiatus until January as stated by a spokesperson from the production company. DeGeneres also added that she had alerted all whom she had interacted with and was following all CDC guidelines.

For the TV star, it has been a challenging year as reports of toxicity in the workplace have riddled her show. After news claiming that The Ellen DeGeneres Show had a culture of sexual harassment, racism and bullying, DeGeneres has officially and privately apologised.  Last week a recent Buzzfeed article reported that the DeGeneres programme had been further affected by negative publicity and as a consequence lost a host of sponsors. Allegedly, several actors remain away, and ratings are down.
