HDFC back with a bang?

MUMBAI (CU)_In December last year, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) barred HDFC Bank from issuing new credit cards and  launching new digital banking initiatives on account of several glitches that were identified in relation to the bank’s mobile and internet banking systems over the past two years. Now, after an eight-month long prohibition, India’s largest private lender is confident of capturing lost ground, as the central bank partially lifted restrictions on Wednesday (18 August).
