Hotels (Commonwealth Union)_ Leading global hospitality company Hilton has once again been recognized as the top-ranking hospitality company on Great Place to Work®’s “Best Workplaces in Asia™” list for the eighth consecutive year. Hilton secured the #2 position among the top 100 companies across all industries in the multinational category, reflecting its inclusive, purpose-driven workplace culture.

This accolade underscores Hilton’s commitment to creating a world-class employee experience that mirrors its signature hospitality. Hilton’s approach is centered on humanity, inclusivity, wellness, growth, and purpose, reinforced through its industry-leading program and global employer proposition, Thrive@Hilton. This program empowers Hilton’s team members across the Asia Pacific to thrive, regardless of their background, role, or location.

Alan Watts, President of Asia Pacific at Hilton, expressed his gratitude for this recognition, stating, “We are deeply honored to be recognized once again as the top-ranked hospitality workplace in Asia. The hospitality landscape is rapidly evolving, and it remains Hilton’s priority to distinguish itself as an employer of choice, and strengthen a culture that values inclusion, growth, and innovation.”

Hilton is the fastest-growing hospitality company in the Asia Pacific region and is on track to surpass 1,000 hotels in the area. This rapid growth offers significant opportunities for Hilton’s 62,000 team members, who Watts describes as the “driving force behind Hilton’s success.”

Hilton’s continued recognition as a leading employer in Asia demonstrates its proactive approach to transforming the hotel work experience. The company has streamlined its recruitment and onboarding processes and adopted innovative staffing models that prioritize flexibility and efficiency. A prime example is the “GIG” model launched in China and Japan, which made Hilton the first international hotel company to offer flexible employment to over 17,000 gig workers across more than 100 cities in these markets. This initiative has successfully resulted in over 240,000 shifts completed to date.

Patsy Ng, Vice President of Human Resources for Asia Pacific at Hilton, emphasized the importance of Hilton’s strong, inclusive culture, stating, “A best-in-class culture attracts the best talents, and the best work experience brings out the very best in our team members to deliver the best stays for our guests. As we celebrate our eighth consecutive year as Asia’s leading hospitality workplace, we are more committed than ever to fostering a future-ready workplace that delivers a truly human experience for all.”

The “Best Workplaces in Asia™” list is based on direct employee feedback collected by the global research and consulting firm, Great Place to Work®. Hilton’s top ranking in Asia builds on numerous country-specific achievements this year, including being recognized as the top hospitality employer in Australia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka. Notably, in India, Hilton was named the country’s number one company to work for, maintaining its status as the only hospitality company to receive this honor.

Globally, Hilton’s commitment to a positive workplace culture has also been acknowledged, as the company was named the #1 World’s Best Workplace by Fortune and Great Place to Work in 2023. Hilton remains the first and only hospitality company to receive this prestigious accolade, further validating its efforts to create a thriving, inclusive, and innovative work environment for all team members.
