Hopes of Ronaldo playing against Barcelona

Lisbon, Portugal (CWBN)_ Juventus FC’s golden boy, Cristiano Ronaldo will be missing the fight against its FC Barcelona, today (28th October) and his reunion with his old rival, Lionel Messi. The game is scheduled at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, Italy.

Ronaldo, along with Weston McKennie, were reported to have tested positive for Covid-19 on 13th October, which has since forced them to remain in isolation. Although earlier reports stated that the two would be ready to hit the field in two weeks, only McKennie has been able to recover in time for the season.

Juventus is yet to make a statement regarding Ronaldo’s current condition.

Anxieties are starting to rise as fans start wondering whether Ronaldo would misses the schedule for 2020. Argentinian footballer and Ronaldo’s teammate, Paulo Dybala, came down with the virus earlier this year (21st March) and too about two months to recover and test negative.
