Hub signs deal to purchase Aviva Canada subsidiary

British Columbia, Canada (CU)_ Hub International Limited revealed on Tuesday that the company has signed a purchase deal to buy the Aviva Canada business, in an attempt to expand the company’s services, which provides new home warranties in British Columbia and Alberta. The acquisition terms of National Home Warranty Group Inc. were not revealed.

David Moon, president of Hub International Canada West, released a press statement saying, “Our investment in National Home Warranty rounds out Hub’s capabilities in Western Canada to offer a more complete and comprehensive solution to make builders stronger and help homeowners better protect their assets. Their builders and clients will have access to an additional layer of risk management, specialties, resources and services with Hub.”
