The study was based on over 70 years of research indicating the length to which researchers have been exploring the global impact of climate change. The researchers of the University of Reading study echoed the need for further research in this study but Dr Kieran Hunt, of the tropical meteorology at the University of Reading stated climate change could impact on the level of rain and snow in north-west India in the coming years which is connected to the position of the North Atlantic jet stream and the strength of the subtropical jet.
