India (Commonwealth) _ At the International Cricket Council (ICC) Cricket Academy Dubai, Ajay Reddy scored 66 runs in 35 balls to lead the Indian blind cricket team to an overwhelming eight-wicket victory over Pakistan in the third match.

India clinched the series of three matches 2-1 as a result of the win. India needed 184 runs to win, and they got there in the 19th over with 8 wickets remaining. Muhammad Salman (74) led the squad to a respectable total following Badar’s early expulsion following two boundaries scored.

Additionally, Muhammad Rashid scored 32 runs off of 22 balls for Pakistan. Among the Indian bowlers, Durga Rao stood out as she grabbed three wickets, Venkatesh taking two. The game was changed by Ajay Reddy’s explosive 66 runs off of 35 balls and gave India the advantage. Sunil Ramesh provided excellent assistance, hitting an outstanding 64 off 53 balls. For Pakistan, Muhammad Salman and Muhammad Idress both took one wicket.

A variation of the game designed specifically for players who are blind or partially sighted is called blind cricket. Since 16, the World Blind Cricket Council (WBCC) has been in charge of it. There have been five Blind World Cups to date: India (2018), Islamabad, Pakistan (2006), Chennai, India (2002), and New Delhi, India (1998). The inaugural Blind World Cup T20 took place in Bangalore, India, in 2012. The’sweep stroke’ is a commonly used technique in blind cricket to increase the likelihood that the bat will strike the ball.

Two blind factory workers in Melbourne created the game of blind cricket in 1922 by improvising it with a tin can filled with pebbles.[1]Shortly after, in 1922, the Victorian Blind Cricket Association was established, and in 1928 the first blind cricket sports field and clubhouse were constructed at Kooyong, Melbourne.

In 2000, Pakistan and South Africa played the world’s first test cricket match for the blind, with Pakistan winning by 94 runs. Pakistan won the following two global championships in a row, defeating both South Africa and India in the finals in 2002 and 2006, after South Africa had won the inaugural one in 1998. India defeated Pakistan, the defending champion, to win the title in 2014.

New Delhi, India hosted the inaugural World Cup Cricket for the Blind competition. The competition was dubbed the “Kanishka World Cup Cricket for the Blind” due to sponsorship from Hotel Kanishka, a government-affiliated tourism organization. This information was provided by the Indian Army’s Retd. Lt. Col. Sardev Singh, the former director of administration, and his volunteer daughter Rakhee. Furthermore, Hotel Kanishka covered a sizable amount of the costs associated with the players’, managers’, and teams’ stays as well as significant events. Additionally, a hotel suite was made available for meetings and management to operate from. In the end, Pakistan was defeated by South Africa in the match. Australia and India were the two finalists.

The Association for Cricket for the Blind India (ACBI), founded in 1996, was replaced with the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) as of 2011. The organization was founded by George Abraham, a registered volunteer. Its goals are to utilize competitive cricket as a means of instilling in the blind a positive outlook on life, a sense of self-worth, and the desire to be victors rather than beneficiaries. It also hopes to use the game as a vehicle for educating the general public about skill and ability. The first two Blind Cricket World Cups were held in 1998 and 2002 by the ACBI.

The highest authority for planning and running blind cricket matches in India is CABI. CABI is the Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled’s sports project. It is a World Blind Cricket Council (WBCC)-affiliated non-profit organization that is registered. Granted Bangalore the opportunity to host the inaugural T-20 World Cup in November and December of 2012. The main objective of CABI is:
