Accordingly, a number of renowned actors and influencers made notable appearances, radiating the international film festival with a distinct ‘desi’ essence through their stylish presence. This captivating amalgamation of seasoned red carpet personalities and burgeoning talents stunningly showcased Indian fashion on the global platform. In addition to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a cohort of Indian celebrities, including Kiara Advani, Sobhita Dhulipala, Nancy Tyagi, and several other stars, graced the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

As a tradition, Cannes Queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a splendid appearance on the red carpet. This year was her 22nd appearance at the festival, a feat she celebrated with a trendy attitude. On the inaugural day, she elegantly traversed the red carpet in a resplendent black gown crafted by Falguni Shane Peacock. Subsequently, on Day 2, Aishwarya showcased her fashion versatility with a dramatic and futuristic ensemble for the screening of “Kinds of Kindness,” starring Emma Stone.

Naseeruddin Shah

The limelight was commandeered by Naseeruddin Shah, who was accompanied by his wife, Ratna Pathak Shah. He made a striking entrance on the red carpet prior to a special screening of Shyam Benegal’s 1976 classic, “Manthan.” Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Prateik Babbar graced the screening of “Manthan,” India’s pioneering crowdfunded film, in the Cannes Classics segment. Naseeruddin exuded royalty in a cream-colored sherwani; Ratna radiated charm in a golden sari paired with a lavender blouse; and Prateik exuded sophistication in a crisp black suit accompanied by matching wayfarers.
Kiara Advani

Kiara Advani, adorned in a pale orange column gown, participated in Variety’s Global Conversations panel alongside actresses Aseel Omran and Sarocha Chankimha. Later, she transformed her look into a black-and-pink mermaid-cut corset gown embellished with a substantial bow and a flowing train.
