NIGERIA (Commonwealth Union) – In the world political arena there will never be complaints of there being no drama. There will always be some sort of spicy news from some country’s political parties. Today we see that there has been some sort of wave caused by the political camp of the All-Progressive Congress of the Katsina state in Nigeria. The defection of the former secretary to the state government is the reason this wave took place.

Straight after the announcement of his defection the political wind in the state changed and now the air was thick with anxiety and excitement as the excited crowds basically swarmed Inuwa’s office. The crowd then connected all the road and cheered for the man and sang songs of solidarity to him. Inuwa’s supporters also went ahead ad destroyed just about any indication that he was a part of the APC.

By Inuwa making this decision, he left the APC to withstand a massive lose at the upcoming election of 2023. It was Inuwa who was bringing the votes and with him leaving the votes left with him. APC lost its winning ticket and there was no way they were going to win the seats they wanted without Inuwa.

It is worthy to mention that the man had dedicated 7 years of his political career to the party. He also a founding farther of the party in Katsina, but whilst he had grown in his political platform the party however lagged and this seemed to have been holding him back from achieving what he wanted to achieve in the Nigerian political scene.

Nevertheless, it should not come as a surprise with the above information as to why he decided to defection to another party. Nigerian politics is complicated and one does not get chance after chance to get where they want to get. So, when an opportunity is to come about its best you take it.
