Mumbai, India (CU)_ Following sister Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor is all set to make her Bollywood entry. Khushi Kapoor is the youngest daughter of Boney Kapoor and actress Sridevi. Boney Kapoor confirmed the news in an interview about his daughter’s Bollywood debut. Janhvi’s Bollywood debut movie was Dhadak, a 2018 film by Shashank Khaitan. Boney Kapoor said, “Yes, Khushi is also keen on acting. You will hear an announcement soon.” He said news about Khushi’s debut movie will soon be announced and told the publication that he will not launch Khushi.
Boney Kapoor gave explanations for not launching his daughter Kushi Kapoor. He said, “I have the resources, but I would rather have someone else launch her because I am her father and one tends to get indulgent. You can’t afford to do that as a filmmaker and nor is it good for the actor. Anil (Kapoor) was still an established actor, so it didn’t affect him much, but I think I became an indulgent brother with Sanjay (Kapoor) when he made his entry into films”.

With the 1995 film Prem, producer Boney Kapoor launched Brother Sanjay in Bollywood. The renowned actor Anil Kapoor was also launched by his brother Boney Kapoor in the 1983 film Woh Saat Din, which was one of his breakthrough performances. Boney Kapoor said that he wishes Kushi to make her Bollywood debut with a director he really respects. He said, “I would want Khushi to find her own footing. She will be launched by someone I respect and someone I feel secure and safe about.”
Khushi Kapoor has trended many times on social media for her trendy outfits and her happy moments with sister Janhvi even before her Bollywood entry. Last year in December, she made her Instagram profile public. She often used to share posts about her mom Sridevi and dad Boney Kapoor in her Instagram page, which are adored by many of her followers.

Janhvi Kapoor’s Bollywood debut movie was Dhadak, a 2018 film by Dharma productions. It is a Hindi remake of Marathi hit Sairat. Thereafter, she acted in Netflix’s anthology Ghost Stories. She last appeared in Dharma Productions’ Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, costarred with Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi. Her future projects are Karan Johar’sTakht and Dharma Productions’ Dostana 2.
