His Majesty King Charles will host the US President 10th July 2023 at Windsor Castle, with the politician also set to sit down with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.  It was confirmed by Buckingham Palace in a statement that The King will meet the President of the United States of America at Windsor Castle on Monday the 10th of July.  The White House confirmed that President Biden is to meet the King in Windsor Castle and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in London in the second week of July when he visits the UK.  President Joe Biden will travel to Vilnius in Lithuania for a Nato summit and then for a US-Nordic leaders conference in Finland.

White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre stated that President Biden will travel to London for engagements with King Charles III and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to further strengthen the close relations between the two nations.

The spokesman said that further details will be released about the meeting in due course, which will take place just outside London at one of His Majesty’s residences.  Earlier this year, President Biden stopped in Belfast to mark the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement and met Mr. Sunak briefly.  He also informed the Irish parliament that he believed that the United Kingdom should be working more closely to support Northern Ireland, with the administration in Dublin.

In June 2021, President Joe Biden previously met with the late Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle while he and his wife attended her funeral at Westminster Abbey in September.  They joined King Charles and other leaders before the ceremony for an evening reception that was hosted by the King for world leaders.   He did not attend the King’s Coronation, but his wife, First Lady Jill Biden and his granddaughter went instead, in his place.
