(Commonwealth Union) _ Körber and Geek+, global pioneers in robotic logistics solutions, are celebrating the third year of their strategic cooperation. Geek+ is one of Körber’s valued global robotic partners, making this anniversary a crucial milestone in Körber’s drive to deliver efficient, scalable, and sustainable end-to-end logistics solutions to businesses globally. Körber and Geek+ have been worldwide robotics automation partners for three years. Körber and Geek+ continue to modernize warehouse operations with a broad range of Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) solutions, with over 30 installations in eight countries and thousands of bots successfully deployed. Customers have witnessed productivity benefits in excess of 100%, accuracy improvements of up to 99.99%, and a decrease in costs as a result of our collaboration.

Customers in Europe, America, and Asia Pacific are currently advancing their supply chain operations by leveraging the combined expertise of a global leader in AMR technology and Körber’s broad capabilities in end-to-end consulting, conceptualization, integration, and support. Robotics help to create safer and more ergonomic workplaces by increasing picking accuracy, lowering labor costs, and improving productivity and efficiency. This allows warehouse associates to avoid tedious and risky tasks, focus on more value-added activities, and enjoy a more collaborative and satisfying work environment.

The logistics industry is witnessing a remarkable transformation, and it’s being driven by innovative solutions that leverage cutting-edge technology and automation. One notable example is the implementation of highly innovative logistics software and automation at the largest 3PL eCommerce warehouse in Eastern Central Europe, operated by 3PL logistics start-up Boxy. This forward-looking initiative is powered by technology provided by Körber, in collaboration with partners like Geek+, a company at the forefront of robotics and AI-driven logistics solutions.

András Táncsics, CEO of Boxy, emphasized the pivotal role of this advanced technology in meeting the escalating demands of customers. He noted that relying on cutting-edge technology, along with partners like Geek+, has enabled them to maintain an efficient flow of goods, enhance shipping performance, and ensure reliability, all while facing the growing pressure of customer demands. Táncsics firmly believes that automation and software solutions of this nature represent the future of the logistics industry and provide a significant competitive advantage in the market. Boxy is committed to staying at the forefront of innovation, closely monitoring these technologies, and collaborating with partners to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Recent customer successes further underscore the impact of these innovative solutions. For instance, one of the largest deployments of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) in Eastern Europe took place at DB Schenker, a leading global logistics service provider. This deployment exemplifies the scalability and effectiveness of robotics technology in streamlining logistics operations.

In Australia, Körber and Geek+ have joined forces with leading Australian retailers such as Officeworks to enhance their supply chain operations. This collaboration is a testament to the global reach and applicability of these transformative solutions. Similarly, in North America, S&S Activewear, a prominent wholesale distributor of apparel and accessories, is poised to benefit from a high-velocity picking system provided by Geek+. Körber’s expertise in the design, deployment, and support of this system will help S&S Activewear meet the evolving demands of its customers while optimizing fulfillment processes. Lit Fung, VP and Managing Director, International Business at Geek+, acknowledged the evolving landscape of the supply chain. He emphasized that the supply chain has undergone tremendous changes in recent years, characterized by an insatiable demand for efficiency, productivity, and sustainability. To address these multifaceted challenges effectively, Fung highlighted the crucial role of robots, especially with the significant advancements in AI and machine learning. Robots have the potential to revolutionize supply chain operations on a large scale, offering a powerful solution to meet the complex demands of the modern logistics landscape.
