From 4 am in the morning on the 1st of November onwards Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Peru and Venezuela were removed from the list. This means fully vaccinated travellers will no longer need to stay in a quarantined hotel when returning to the UK.

However, the red list system will remain in place and the Department for Transport will review it every three weeks, and countries could be added back on it if cases rise there. The changes were confirmed last week by the DfT and will apply to all four nations.

Over the next two weeks…
