The second prize Mauritius won was that it was the most visited tropical island. It was a fight between this and a few islands but Mauritius brought home the gold with the fact that they offer luxury but at an affordable price. The third award was for accessibility and hospitality. This was not an easy award to win as a lot of countries have amazing hospitality and are accessible all year around. Nevertheless, Mauritius again had the edge and for that they came out on top.
