Pakistan (Commonwealth Union)_ The Oxford Pakistan Programme (OPP) has announced the Tareen Oxford Scholarship, aimed at supporting brilliant young students in the nation, particularly from South Punjab, which will provide need-based funding to meritorious students. The scholarship was announced by the OPP and will play a major role in empowering youth from one of Pakistan’s most underdeveloped regions.

According to the OPP, the scholarship will be given to students who have been offered admission to one of the graduate programs at the University of Oxford’s Kellogg College, but lack the funds to accept the offer. According to the statement, “Preference will be given to students for whom the scholarship will be a life-changing opportunity and who have the potential and commitment to contribute to the development of South Punjab”.
