(Commonwealth) _ Mitsubishi Electric India has recently inaugurated the “CNC eXperience Park” in Pune, India, with the aim of providing an advanced training facility to enhance the skills of Indian engineers and promote the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies in the country. The park is a state-of-the-art facility that showcases the latest CNC (Computer Numerical Control) technologies and offers hands-on training to students, engineers, and industry professionals.

The CNC eXperience Park is spread across 5000 square meters and houses a wide range of CNC machines such as vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, wire cut EDM, and die-sinking EDM machines, as well as various peripheral devices such as robots, measuring instruments, and software. The facility also has a dedicated training center equipped with modern classrooms, conference rooms, and audio-visual equipment to facilitate a world-class learning experience.

The park aims to provide training on CNC programming, operation, and maintenance, as well as advanced topics such as CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), Industry 4.0, and Digital Twin technologies. The courses are designed to cater to the needs of students, fresh graduates, and industry professionals with different levels of expertise, ranging from basic to advanced. The training programs are also customized to meet the specific requirements of different industries such as automotive, aerospace, defense, and general engineering.

The CNC eXperience Park is expected to play a crucial role in bridging the skills gap in the Indian manufacturing sector, which is facing a shortage of skilled workers and engineers. The facility aims to provide practical training that can equip the learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate and maintain CNC machines, as well as develop their problem-solving and analytical abilities. The training programs are also expected to create a pool of talented engineers who can contribute to the growth of the manufacturing industry in India and help the country achieve its goal of becoming a global manufacturing hub.

The park also serves as a platform for Mitsubishi Electric to showcase its latest technologies and products to customers and partners in India. The facility will host regular events such as technical seminars, customer visits, and product demonstrations, which will enable the company to engage with its customers and understand their requirements better. The park will also facilitate collaboration with local universities and research institutions, enabling the company to leverage the expertise and knowledge of Indian academia.

Mitsubishi Electric’s dedication to advancing innovative manufacturing technology in India is exemplified through the CNC eXperience Park. The firm has been in India for almost six decades and has a significant presence in a variety of industries including industrial automation, automotive, and air conditioning. In addition, the corporation has been actively involved in corporate social responsibility projects in India, such as education, environmental protection, and community development.

The inauguration of the CNC eXperience Park comes at a time when the Indian manufacturing sector is undergoing a transformation. The Indian government has launched several initiatives such as Make in India, Skill India, and Digital India to promote the growth of the manufacturing industry and create job opportunities for the youth. The CNC eXperience Park is expected to contribute to these initiatives by providing advanced training and promoting the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies in the country.

The facility is expected to play a crucial role in bridging the skills gap in the Indian manufacturing sector, promoting the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies, and contributing to the growth of the manufacturing industry in India. The park is also expected to strengthen Mitsubishi Electric’s relationship with its customers and partners in India and enable the company to leverage the expertise and knowledge of Indian academia. The CNC eXperience Park is a clear reflection of Mitsubishi Electric’s commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, and is poised to become a landmark in the Indian manufacturing landscape.
